Vida Muertos: A Noir. Science-Fiction/Crime/Fantasy. 17 Minutes.
In this allegorical noir, Daniel Corazon and Catrina “Pistola” Stone are agents for the D.E.B.: the Death Enforcement Bureau. As partners, they track and apprehend Dead who are residing illegally in the land of the living. The film touches on immigration policy and politics through the lens of film noir, science fiction, and Día de los Muertos iconography.
